Tavie Peters, APRN, FNP-C
Tavie Peters is an Advanced Practice Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Functional and Integrative Health. She spent 11 years as a registered nurse, mostly in critical care settings, before earning her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016.
She worked in chronic and interventional pain management until 2018, when she was led to Integrative Medicine by her own health struggles, and by the grace of God. What she discovered changed everything.
After years of searching for answers to her own symptoms, extreme fatigue, chronic pain, brain fog, hair loss, mood swings, and more, she finally pieced together the truth: mold toxicity from significant hidden mold in her own home, compounded by adrenal dysfunction, thyroid mismanagement, histamine intolerance, and candida overgrowth. Her labs had always been "normal." Fifteen years of her life had passed without a real answer.
Her healing journey began in 2018 using the same tools she was giving her patients. Her house was torn down to the studs. She slept in a camper for months. Slowly, her pain lessened and her symptoms began to improve.

She trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine, the School for Applied Functional Medicine, and the Functional Medicine Academy. She has completed advanced coursework in hormone-replacement therapy and specialized Lyme disease training through ILADS and Dr. Richard Horowitz.
Tavie resides in Johnson City, Texas with her family and a menagerie of animals. She finds solace with God, family, and her horses. White Horse Holistic Health's mission is to serve Christ by helping others, and she lives that mission every day.

Stephanie Sanders is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner focused on metabolic health, weight resistance, and early hormone dysfunction. She works with patients who are still functioning day to day but know something is off.
Her path to functional medicine was personal. After her own experience with breast implant illness — and the frustration of navigating a conventional medical system that had no answers — she found functional medicine. That experience shapes how she practices. She knows what it feels like to be dismissed, and she doesn't do that to her patients.
With over 15 years of clinical experience across perioperative nursing, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and urgent care, Stephanie brings technical depth and genuine attentiveness to every appointment. She works in close collaboration with Tavie Peters — their lanes are complementary by design, so patients always start in the right place.
Stephanie has lived in the Spring Branch and Bulverde community since 2005. This isn’t just where she works — it’s her home. Her neighbors are her patients, and she takes that seriously.
